MICHAEL POWELL'S two goals ensured Chester ended the year with an unbeaten home record.
 
The Blues captain touched home from close range in the 32nd minute after Robbie Booth had curled a free kick into the area from the left wing.
 
And Powell slotted home a 71st minute shot after Iain Howard and Matty McNeil had combined on the left flank.
