CHESTER rued a number of missed chances to claim a point having trailed twice in a one-sided contest.

Frickley broke the deadlock after 30 minutes when James Ashmore tucked home a penalty kick after Blues keeper John Danby had brought down Ollie Ryan.

But Chester equalised in the 36th minute when Jamie Rainford clipped an 18 yard shot in off the inside of the right post after being fed by Jerome Wright.

Frickley went 2-1 ahead in the 67th minute when Brad Grayson seized on a loose ball and pushed the ball beyond Danby before firing home low in to an empty net.

But Chester levelled matters in the 73rd minute when Howard's cross was superbly headed in by Matty McGinn.
