THREE second half goals earned Chester a deserved third successive league win.
Chester broke the deadlock two minutes after the break courtesy of an own goal by Worksop defender Chris Wood after Matty McGinn's long throw had been flicked on by George Horan and palmed against Wood by home keeper Jon Worsnop.
The Blues found their stride in the second half after surviving two scares from their hosts during the opening half.
Dennis Sherriff was guilty of steering a free close range header wide of the target in the 13th minute, and Michael Whitwell's 37th minute one on one with Blues keeper John Danby was hit wide of the right post.
Whitwell came close for Worksop in the 59th minute when his header hit the woodwork.
But McGinn secured maximum points for Chester when he stroked home an 83rd minute penalty after Worsnop had brought down McNeil, netting his fourth penalty and his fifth goal for the Blues in six games.
And substitute Wes Baynes smashed home a low 12 yard shot a minute into injury time to wrap up the contest.
