A GROUP of students are getting set to break a world record for the largest three-legged race ever.

Dee-Votion Events from the University of Chester will hold the three-legged ‘hat-trick’ race on Sunday, February 28, in the hope of raising thousands of pounds for children’s medical research through charity Sparks.

Competitors in the charity race have also been asked to don creative headgear for the world record breaking attempt.

All volunteers of all ages will meet at the Pavilion Stand at Chester Racecourse at noon on Sunday, February 28, to register – on a first come, first served basis.

A free soft drink will be provided on arrival.

Entry costs £5 per person, or £8 per pair.
