Delays in the region after morning rush hour crashes

A MAN received treatment following a three vehicle collision this morning.

The incident happened at about 7.55am on the A525 near Coedpoeth.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We sent a rapid response vehicle. A man in his 40s was treated at the scene for minor injuries."
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "We were called at 7.56am to reports of an incident involving three vehicles. The road was partially blocked."
 
Between Flintshire and Cheshire, rush hour traffic was brought to a standstill towards the England-Wales border after a crash on Friday morning.
Drivers reported delays of up to 15 minutes between 8am and 9am at junction 15 westbound of the M56 where it meets the A494 Gateway to Wales after a car collided with the central reservation near Ellesmere Port.
 
The early morning crash led to further queuing traffic along the A494 towards Queensferry during busy commuting hours.
 
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said they received a call of a road traffic collision at 7.16am where one patient was checked out at the scene and did not require any further attention.
