BOYZONE have announced they are coming to the region as part of their ‘BZ20’ 20th anniversary celebrations.

Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham will be performing hits at Delamere Forest, near Chester, on Sunday, July 6 as part of Forest Live, the Forestry Commission’s annual concert series taking place in forests across Britain.

The Irish boyband first performed in 1993 and since then has released 21 singles, seven albums and enjoyed 25 million record sales with hits such as Love me for a Reason and Picture of You, with six number one’s including Words, No Matter What and You Needed Me.

Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission, bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship.

Income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving forests  in the area for both people and wildlife. With everything required for a great night out, including full catering and bar facilities, the gigs are renowned for their relaxed atmosphere.

Commenting on the upcoming show, Keating said: “We’re pleased to be part of the Forest Live tour this year for the first time.

“It’s going to be great to perform our hits in such beautiful locations.”

Tickets are £42.35 and go on sale at 9am on Friday by calling the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680try.gov.uk/ music
