A MOTHER is desperate for help to find her two missing French bulldogs.
Louise Colyer of Boundary Lane, Saltney, fears her two brindle French bulldogs, bought for her two children, have been stolen after they disappeared from her back garden.
The pets, a dog aged five months and a bitch aged eight months which has a small nip out of her right ear, have both been microchipped but haven’t shown up anywhere since they went missing at 10.30am on October 16.
Louise said: “We popped out and left the dogs in the back garden. We have a big double gate which was bolted top and bottom. When we got back the gate was wide open and the dogs gone.
“We’ve been putting up posters all over the place which keep being taken down.
“We fear they have been stolen.
“We have had them since they were pups. They’re both pedigree animals so whoever has got them is thinking about money.
“Even if they weren’t stolen initially, someone has got them now because they have not come up on the microchip. They are hiding them very well.”
Louise is worried that the two dogs have been split up and sold.
She is keeping an eye on social media and sale websites as well as asking local animal charities to keep a look out.
Louise added: “We got the dogs for the kids so they are devastated.
“They were such lovable dogs and it’s horrible not knowing if someone is looking after them.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police, there is a reward for any information which leads to the discovery of the dogs.
