THE PUBLIC are reminded not to leave their valuables in cars, after a spate of thefts in the Rhos on Sea area earlier this month.
North Wales Police are urging the public to take items such as laptops, phones, purses and cameras from their cars, rather than leaving them on display to tempt thieves.
The call comes after three cars parked on Dinerth Road were damaged and items were stolen from them, some time during the night between October 1 and 2.
PC Rob Jones said: “We’re appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the cars being broken into. But this is also a plea for people not to leave valuables in cars.”
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Rob Jones in Colwyn Bay Police Station on 101, or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
