A TEENAGE boy was arrested on suspicion of theft following a police pursuit in Chester yesterday.
Eyewitnesses said four police cars and about a dozen officers were involved in the chase, which ended at the Wagon and Horses pub in Blacon.
Cheshire Police said officers responded to reports a bicycle had been stolen in Brook Street shortly before noon.
Force spokesman George Perfitt said: “At 11.58am on Tuesday, February 12 police responded to a report of a theft of a pushbike on Brook Street. A 17-year-old boy was arrested close to the scene shortly afterwards. The bike has been recovered.”
