POPSTARS Jessie J and The Wanted are set to headline the Chester Rocks festival.
The stars will take to the stage for the two-day event on Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and 16.
Thousands of music fans are set to descend on the hugely popular festival, which is held on Chester Racecourse.
The event will also play host to X-factor finalists Union J on Saturday and Lawson on Sunday.
Boyband The Wanted are to headline on Saturday night while Jessie J, who starred at the Olympics closing ceremony, will close the festival the following day.
Organisers of the festival, which is now entering its third year, are confident of building on their previous success.
Richard Thomas, Chester Racecourse chief executive, said: “Everyone at the racecourse is really excited to be hosting Chester Rocks again.
“This is a fantastic event for Chester and the North West and to have The Wanted and Jessie J on two consecutive days is amazing – I have no doubt that demand for tickets will be very high and attract attention across the UK.”
The festival has enjoyed two very successful years previously with a number of big name acts.
Pixie Lott and The Courteeners headlined the festival last year while Taio Cruz and Iggy Pop & the Stooges topped the bill in 2011.
More acts for this years festival are set to be announced in the coming months.
Tickets are set for release tomorrow and will cost £32.
