A HOMELESS man and woman are to stand trial accused of murdering a man found stabbed at a Chester flat.
Christine Holleran, 50, appeared at Chester Crown Court been charged with the murder of Andrew Mackenzie Nall.
Mr Nall, known as ‘Scottish Andy’, was found dead at his home in Eversley Park off Liverpool Road on August 31.
His body was found following on assault on a homeless man in a subway near Northgate Street in Chester city centre shortly before 5pm on the same day.
Holleran, previously of Latham Road in Liverpool, appeared at court via video link from HMP Styal in Cheshire.
Gary George, 41 of Crispin House, Nicholas Street, Chester, appeared in court on December 17. He pleaded not guilty to murdering Mr Nall and causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Brian James Riley, of no fixed abode.
Both George and Holleran have been remanded in custody are due to stand trial at Chester Crown Court on March 4.
