Police want to speak with this man in connection with an assault in a Chester nightclub 

POLICE have released CCTV images of a person they want to speak to after a man was attacked in a Chester nightclub.

The 20-year-old victim suffered serious facial injuries when he was punched and kicked by three men in RBs nightclub on Northgate Street.

Cheshire police have arrested two local men, aged 25 and 33, in connection with the assault, which happened at about 11.45pm on Saturday, September 29.

Officers are keen to trace a third man in connection with the assault.

He is described as white, aged in his 20s with a stocky build and a shaved head. He was wearing a white or light grey striped T-shirt, blue jeans and light-coloured shoes.

Cheshire police spokesman George Perfitt said: “Police have released a CCTV image of a man they are keen to trace in connection with an assault which took place in Chester.

“At about 11.45pm on Saturday 29 September 2012, the victim, a 20-year-old man, was in RBs nightclub on Northgate Street when he was assaulted by three men who punched and kicked him.

“He suffered serious facial injuries as a result of the incident.

“Two local men, aged 25 and 33, have been arrested in connection with the incident.”
