A WOMAN had to be cut free by firefighters after her car flipped onto its side.
Emergency services were called to the A483 near Chester at 12.45pm on Friday following reports of a two-car crash.
Paramedics discovered a female was trapped in a Honda Jazz which had rolled over after colliding with a Ford Fiesta between the Posthouse roundabout and the Belgrave roundabout.
Two fire engines from Chester attended and firefighters released the woman from her car. She escaped injury but was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital as a precaution.
Police closed one lane of the A483 while they waited for the Honda car to be taken away by a recovery vehicle.
