PRESTATYN residents have been invited to look at plans and contribute ideas to redevelop the Coronation Gardens play area.

The Town Council is holding a consultation for residents in Ty Caradoc Community Centre, to find out their views for the revamping of the gardens and surrounding area, including the parking on Morley Road.

Councillor James Davies has encouraged the community to go and look at the plans.

“The playing facilities at the gardens are a bit dated and we are looking to improve it with new, exciting equipment that will last for many years to come.”

Mr Davies said suggestions from residents, for a suitable location for a new skate park/ pump track, in the town are also welcome.

A spokeswoman for Prestatyn Town Council, said: “There will be no dramatic changes to the gardens, just more of a refurbishment.

“As a separate issue, we are also looking for possible sites to place a skate park/ pump track, for which we have funding.

“Any suggestions will be welcome.”

The plans will be available for viewing on Wednesday August 8 & 15 at 10am–12.
