A MURDER inquiry is under way in Chester after a body was discovered in a park last night (Sunday).
A forensic tent has been erected at Edgars Field, Handbridge, as police investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a man from Chester.
The man, who is believed to be in his 30s, is understood to have been involved in an altercation with two other men.
His body was found behind the Ship Inn, on Handbridge at 11.15pm last night.
Formal identification has not been carried out.
A police spokeswoman said: "Enquiries are continuing to trace the suspects."
