A MAN is to appear in court after he was charged with sexually grooming a young girl from Chester.
Robert Carter, 36, from Conisbrough, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, has been charged with sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, making indecent photographs, possessing indecent photographs and meeting a female under the age of 16 following sexual grooming.
The charges relate to offences commited in the Chester area. Carter was arrested in August 2011 and was charged on Monday, January 23.
He is due to appear in West Cheshire Magistrates Court on Wednesday, February 15.
