HEALTH bosses are encouraging people to give their view on a maternity services review.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board said changes need to be made to the service but stress no changes have yet been proposed.
Last year a consultation was held on three options which included retaining maternity services at Wrexham Maelor, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and Ysbyty.
Gwynedd; establishing a two-site model at either Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and Ysbyty Gwynedd, or at Ysbyty Gwynedd and the Maelor.
It was then decided last year to take more time on a consultation.
A online questionnaire can now be filled in by members of the public ahead of the September 1 deadline.
Jane Trowman, project director for the maternity review, said: “The way services are planned and delivered will need to change. This is the conclusion of the first stage of the maternity and child health review.
“Meetings have been held across North Wales, including Mold where patients, the community health council, GPs, Volunteer groups and charities have discussed what works well land what needs to improve in the future.
“Members of the public can also share their views with the health board by completing an online questionnaire on the health board’s website.”
