      Applications are invited for new panel members to join independent education appeal panels in Denbighshire. If you have an interest in education and feel able to offer some time on an occasional basis, we would be pleased to hear from you. Each panel is made up of three members who are independent of the Local Education Authority. The panel hears admission appeals against decisions not to admit children to particular schools and exclusion appeals against decisions not to reinstate pupils who have been permanently excluded from school. Expressions of interest are invited from people of all backgrounds as the panel is made up of lay members and those with experience in education. A lay member is a person without personal experience in the provision of education in any school (disregarding experience as a school governor or in another voluntary capacity).       Denbighshire County Council has made an Order which prohibits any vehicle from using that length of B5437 at Carrog, in the County of Denbigh, which extends from its junction with Bryn Llan in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 138 metres. The reason for the closure is to facilitate water mains renewal works by Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water. The alternative route available for traffic will be via B5437, A5 A494 A5104 and B5437 and will be sign posted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The Order comes into force on 28th March, 2011, and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the completion of the works whichever is the earlier.
