Denbighshire Local Planning Authority has prepared a Community Linguistic Impact Assessment as part of the progression of the Local Development Plan and the Council is keen to hear your views on it. The document seeks to identify potential impacts that the proposed key strategic site might have on the local Welsh speaking community. It also recommends ways to direct development decisions to protect and, where possible, enhance the cultural and linguistic character of the area. The recommendations in the document will form an important part of ensuring the long-term success of the development. Copies of the document will be available for public inspection from the 26th January until the 9th March 2011 in local libraries, one stop shops and council offices during normal office hours and on the Council's website at www.denbighshire.gov.uk/ldp. Comments in respect of the Community Linguistic Impact Assessment, should be sent in writing to: The LDP Team, Planning & Public Protection Service
