NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 77 IN THE COMMUNITY
OF FLINT
Flintshire County Council has made an Order which will prohibit any
pedestrians from using that section of Public Footpath No. 77 in the
Community of Flint along Panton Cop from a point at NGR 23801 74183 for
a distance of approximately 1820 metres to a point at NGR 22164 75425.
The reason for the closure is the repair of the masonry revetment and
embankment toe and raising of the embankment crest in the location of
low spots on behalf of Network Rail.
The alternative route for pedestrians will be signed accordingly on site by
the use of prescribed signs.
The Order comes into force on the 17th May 2013. The closure is expected to
last for approximately 10 weeks, subject to a maximum period of 6 months.
