THE M53 MOTORWAY (JUNCTIONS 8-4 NORTHBOUND AND SOUTHBOUND CARRIAGEWAYS AND SLIP ROADS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2014
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State for Transport intends to make an Order on the M53 Motorway in Cheshire West and Chester and the District of Wirral in Merseyside to enable re-surfacing, road renewal and maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The Order will ban all traffic from the following sections of the M53 Motorway:
i. the northbound carriageway from the last point where the Junction 8 exit slip road leaves the carriageway to the first point where the Junction 5 entry slip road joins the carriageway;
ii. the southbound carriageway from the last point where the Junction 5 exit slip road leaves the carriageway to the first point where the Junction 7 entry slip road joins the carriageway;
iii. the Junction 4 southbound entry and northbound exit slip roads;
iv. the Junction
